Cyclists and pedestrians currently use the crossing at the Heierhoevenweg, but due to the construction of a rail terminal, this crossing can no longer be used. The level crossing will be replaced by a new cycling and pedestrian tunnel under the Venlo-Blerick track, which will replace the level crossing at the Heierhoevenweg, and connect Trade Port North and Trade Port West.
