The Lange Brug bridge lies between the Stadhuisplein and the roundabout adjacent to the Nieuw Wolpherensedijk on the Kanaal van Steenenhoek (canal).
DVA has been commissioned to design, install and remove a temporary bridge for the preservation of the Lange Brug. 
The temporary bridge consists of four main beams with the standard 9-metre-long DVA steel bulkheads on top. (Freight) traffic runs on two carriageways on the DVA bulkheads, and cycling and pedestrian paths are located on the sides.
