Baars B.V. is a company established on the Rivierdijk in Sliedrecht that focuses entirely on the rental and sale of dredging equipment. The yard has an area of 9,000 m2 and is situated on the river Merwede.
DVA designed the crane foundation for the new tower crane (Design for construction permit and execution design). The crane foundation consists of eight prefabricated piles with an insitu poured capping beam. The crane structure is attached with anchors which have been embedded in the capping beam. Once the client had obtained the necessary permits, DVA was commissioned to execute the work.
