Under the monumental Amsterdam Central Station, a lot of hard work was done on the construction of part of the metro line and a metro station for the North-South line. This is a new metro line that connects the city centre of Amsterdam with the north and south of the city.
DVA was asked to provide advice on the foundation work in the field of technology, costs and planning for contract sections 3.1 and 3.2 (forecourt at the CS site and De Ruijterkade).
Acceleration measures for this work have been determined based on the available equipment, in which costs, safety and availability of equipment played a major role.
